All clients of Status Toy Rentals must complete a rental application prior to receiving a vehicle.

Age Requirement

Due to the types of vehicles we rent, our insurance provider requires that we only rent to those drivers over the age of 21.

However, in some cases we may rent to those 18-20. Please contact us if you are under 21 to discuss rental options.

Insurance

You are required to carry your own liability and physical damage policies. You must verify with your insurers that coverage is provided for the vehicle being rented.

If you do not have your own coverage, we offer options to provide coverage during your experience. Please inquire on these options.

Credit Card companies often provide rental car coverage at no cost to you when you charge the rental vehicle. Most cardholder's are not even aware of this service their card provides. If you are without traditional auto coverage please check with your credit card company about available rental car coverage options. You may be surprised that even the most basic credit card accounts may cover exotic and luxury auto rentals.

Additional Drivers

Two drivers may be listed as authorized drivers. Each additional driver thereafter must complete a separate rental agreement and will be subject to the same age, and licensing restrictions as the primary renter(s) in addition to a $50.00 fee.

International Renters

Vehicles are available to international visitors with a valid passport and driver's license from their home country. We can provide insurance coverage for those international visitors renting for a minimum of two days.

Delivery / Pick-up

Vehicle delivery and/ or pick-up is available to and from your Home, Office, Hotel, Airports, Film/TV Production sites, Restaurants, Nightclubs, or virtually anywhere you desire to experience our services!

 Please note: All pick-up and delivery arrangements must be confirmed at least 24 hours in advance in order to guarantee on-time service. Any changes to pick-up or delivery times/locations with less than 24 hours notice may incur an additional fee.

If you choose to pick up your rental vehicle at our office, we offer free parking for your own vehicle for the duration of your experience.

Status Toy Rentals is flexible about vehicle return times (we are not sticklers demanding a 24-hour rental has to be returned exactly 24-hours later), but once we have made a return appointment, we need to stick to it. There will be a 1-hour grace period with your scheduled return time, after which you may be subject to additional daily rental fees at our discretion.

Damage Deposit

All renters must leave a damage deposit in the form of a credit card authorization. Any damage found on the vehicle upon return will be billed against this authorization. This amount varies depending on the vehicle being rented.

Cancellation Policy

When you schedule your experience, we may authorize your credit card for 50% of the total rental cost or $500; whichever is greater. In the event of a cancellation or rescheduling, we will process this charge as a "gift card" and apply this amount toward your re-scheduled rental. If you cancel or reschedule less than 7 days before your rental, you will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the total rental cost in addition to the above mentioned deposit.

If you cancel or reschedule less than 72 hours before your rental, or are a no-show at the time of rental, you will be charged a cancellation fee of 100% of the total rental cost.

At our sole discretion, cancellation fees may be waived for special circumstances.
 

Payment Methods

Preferred methods of payment for your experience and damage deposits are:

* VISA
* MasterCard
* American Express
* Discover

In certain cases, cashier's checks or cash may be accepted if pre-arranged. Personal and business checks are not accepted.

Gift Cards 

Gift Cards are valid for up to one full year from the date of purchase.

Promotional $100.00 gift cards such as those received in celebrity swag bags and exotic car dealerships for test experiences are limited to one per rental reservation.

Fuel Surcharge

NONE! There is no refueling requirement. Vehicles can be returned full, empty (just leave us enough to get to the nearest gas station), or anywhere in between.

However, when you do refuel you must use 91+ octane, unless otherwise stated. There is a $350.00 fee for refueling with a lesser grade (and yes we will know).

Refunds

We do not offer refunds for vehicle experiences or gift cards. However, our goal is total satisfaction for our customers, so in certain situations we may offer credit for additional experience days. This is solely at our discretion.

In the event of an unforeseen mechanical failure during or prior to a rental, we will make every effort to repair or replace your vehicle with a similar or better model at no additional cost to you.

Driving Area Restrictions

Vehicles rented from our Phoenix/ Scottsdale, AZ office may not be driven outside the states of: Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, California, Colorado, and Utah without prior written approval.

Under no circumstances may any of our vehicles be driven outside of the USA.

Prohibited Uses

The vehicles may not be used:

* By anyone not licensed to drive or who’s Driver's License has been suspended or restricted.
* For any illegal purpose or in connection with any illegal activity.
* To carry persons or property for hire,
* to push or tow anything,
* to teach anyone to drive.
* On any unpaved surface.
* To exceed any posted speed limits in any speed test, speed contest, race, rally, etc.
* On any racetrack or road course.

In the event of a violation of these Prohibited Uses, we reserve the right to remotely disable and retrieve the vehicle.

Tickets

Renter's are responsible for all parking, traffic, speeding or other tickets or violations issued while the vehicle is being rented and must pay for any fees, penalties, towing charges, or impound costs, etc.
We may process some tickets on your behalf for $35.00 plus the legal penalty.

Mileage

Daily rentals include 100 miles per day, weekly rentals include 500, and monthly rentals include 1,000, unless stated otherwise. Each additional mile driven will be subject to a change at the stated mileage rate.
